Are BYONI ceramics food-safe?
Yes. All BYONI ceramics are finished with lead-free, food-safe glazes and are suitable for everyday use.

Are the cups dishwasher and microwave safe?
Yes, BYONI ceramics are dishwasher and microwave safe. For the best long-term care, gentle hand washing is recommended. Avoid prolonged use in ovens or sudden temperature changes.

How should I clean my ceramic piece?
Use warm water, mild dish soap, and a soft sponge or brush. Avoid metal or abrasive scrubbers. If using a dishwasher, choose mild or eco-friendly detergents.

Why does my piece show marks on unglazed areas?
Some BYONI pieces include unglazed or partially unglazed surfaces. Over time, these areas may develop subtle marks from oils or use. This is a natural characteristic of the material and does not affect safety or functionality.

Will my ceramic look exactly like the photos?
Each BYONI piece is handmade, wheel-thrown, and finished by hand. Small variations in shape, glaze, and colour are part of the process and make every piece one of a kind. The item you receive may differ slightly from the photos shown.

Coffee

Where is the coffee roasted?
All BYONI coffees are roasted in Amsterdam in small batches, specifically for BYONI, in collaboration with White Label Coffee Roasters.

Is the coffee traceable and ethically sourced?
Yes. All coffees are fully traceable and sourced through responsible supply chains that prioritise quality, transparency, and fair practices at origin.

What is the best before date?
BYONI coffee has a best before date of up to 12 months from the roast date. For the best flavour, we recommend enjoying the coffee within the first weeks after opening.

How should I store my coffee?
Store coffee in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat. Keep the bag sealed tightly after opening. Avoid storing coffee in the fridge or freezer once opened.

Is the coffee suitable for filter and espresso?
Yes. BYONI coffees are selected to work well across multiple brewing methods unless stated otherwise on the product page.

Orders & Shipping

Where do you ship from?
All orders are shipped from Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

When will my order be shipped?
Orders are usually packed and shipped within 1–3 business days. During launches or busy periods, processing times may be slightly longer.

What if my ceramic arrives damaged?
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the item and packaging. We’ll take care of it.

Do you accept returns?
Returns are only accepted in case of damage during shipping.
